ISPConfig: hosting several sites on one server
Install the ISPConfig panel on Ubuntu Server, understand what it automates, and host a site and then a Node.js application on it.
ISPConfig is an open-source panel that manages websites, databases, mailboxes and certificates for several clients on one server. This course installs it, explains what it does on your behalf, and shows where its automation stops.
What you will be able to do
- Decide whether ISPConfig fits your need, or whether a plain Nginx block is enough
- Install ISPConfig on a clean Ubuntu server without running a script blind
- Create a client, a website and a database from the panel
- Put a Node.js application behind a site managed by ISPConfig
